DILI, 20 may 2024 (TATOLI) – President of the Republic, Jose Ramos Horta warmly welcomed Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, as the special guest of honor at the 22nd anniversary celebration of Timor-Leste’s National Independence Restoration Day.

In a special ceremony at the Nicolau Lobato Presidential Palace, President Ramos-Horta bestowed the Grand Collar of the Order of Timor-Leste upon the Sultan, the country’s highest honor.
