DILI, 08 july 2024 (TATOLI) – Indonesian company AirAsia has planned to operate between Bali and Dili in september.
The statement was announced by the Head of the Network and Airport Authority of AirAsia, Edwin Mdl, after a meeting with Prime Minister, Xanana Gusmão, at the Government Palace, in Dili.
“We met with Prime Minister to express our interest in launching AirAsia’s new routes between Bali and Dili, starting in september,” he said in Dili.
During the meeting, Gusmão emphasized the need for AirAsia to coordinate the licensing process with the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
According to Edwin Mdl, the company hoped to finalize all the necessary procedures to start AirAsia services to Dili as soon as possible.
