This funding aims to strengthen the capacity to provide services and improve the quality of medical care by building new facilities and supplying medical equipment for the Guido Valadares National Hospital.
“This project, with the grant of 3.93 billion Japanese Yen (approximately US$20) from Japan, aims to improve the level of medical services at the Guido Valadares National Hospital, the only tertiary care facility in the country,” Ito said in a statement.
