DILI, 17 February 2025 (TATOLI) – Timor-Leste TradeInvest is collaborating with International Trade Center (ITC) funded by the European Union (EU) to organize a Self-Assessment Workshop on Investment Facilitation, for three days (17 – 19) at the JL Villa, Aimutin, Dili.
“The workshop is attended by designated representatives from line ministries and relevant agencies with the objective of developing and analyzing detailed gaps on Timor-Leste’s willingness to join the ASEAN Investment Facilitation Framework (AIFF) and the WTO Investment Facilitation Agreement (IFDA),” said in a statement.
In the opening session, Deputy Executive Director of TradeInvest Timor-Leste Duilio Marino Gusmão Araújo da Silva, expressed his appreciation to the European Union for providing technical and financial support through ITC working with TradeInvest Timor-Leste to further enhance “our capacity across line ministries and relevant agencies on their knowledge of the provisions and agreements in the WTO and ASEAN.”
“I would like to express my gratitude for your participation in this workshop, I ask each of us to participate and be proactively involved in the workshop during these three (3) days,” said Gusmão.
