The WFP flight arrives in Dili bringing 57 passengers

DILI, 18 august 2020 (TATOLI)– Malaysian Commercial Airlines coordinated by the World Food Programmed (WFP) arriving yesterday at Dili International Airport bringing 57 passengers.

The President of WFP in Timor-Leste, Dengeng Liu thanked the Government of Timor-Leste specially the Timor-Leste Navigation Authority (ANATL) for cooperating with the WFP on facilitate this operation.

“I want to thanked Authorities in the Airport for facilitating the flight to do the operation to Timor-Leste for the seventh times,” Dengeng Liu told Tatoli via Phone interview.

From the total number of 57 passengers, 38 passengers were remained in Dili, and another 19 passengers were traveled to Port Moresby, Papua Nova Guine and will arrive in Dili today August 19, at 10:00.

Besides the flight has also transported about 1.306-kilogram cargo of health equipment which are belonged to the World Health Organization (WHO), International Migration Organization (IMO) and the WFP
