DÍLI, 8 January 2021 (TATOLI) – The Indonesian government today bring back 118 citizens residing in Dili with the Nam Air airline flight to Kupang.
“The Indonesian Embassy has returned 118 Indonesian citizens from Dili to Kupang [West Timor], 80 of whom will travel to Java and Bali,” the statement from the press release from the KBRI.
According to document, these citizens working in different areas, such as in migration services at the Indonesian Embasy, Construction employees(workers), health (doctors) and restaurant.
It is also said that, the flight was chartered by the passengers, since all the commercial flights were provisionally suspended in Timor-Leste due to the state of emergency imposed by Government.
“The purpose of going back to their country of origin is to visit their family since some of them were on vocation this whole period,” said.
All the passengers will be subjected to the covid-19 test in the West Timor.
