DILI, 21 january, 2021 (TATOLI) -The Minister of Finance, Rui Gomes signed an agreement with the president of RAEOA, Arsenio Bano to transfer 127 billion to the RAEOA’s bank accounts.
The fund is provided by the Central Government to finance the expenses of the RAEOA authority and the Special Economic and Social Market Zone (ZEESM) for 2021 that has been approved by the National Parliament in the amount of U $ 127 million.
The Minister of Finance, Rui Gomes, said that the signing of the agreement aims at giving the Ministry of Finance an opportunity to transfer the budget to the RAEOA account.
According to Gomes, the US$ 29.2 million budget aims to complete the management balance of the previous year of the RAEOA with an amount of US $ 97.757 million.
Speaking to the Journalists, President of RAEOA, Arsenio Bano promise to use the budget to develop Oé-Cusse to be better places.
“We will use the budget in a proper way since our mission is to change Timor-Leste with clear propose to bring the people out of poverty,” Arsernio Bano said.
According to the State Budget (OGE) document, the budget allocated for RAEOA in 2021 is 127 million US dollars, of which 11.1 million dollars allocated for the salaries, 23.8 million will be spending for goods and services, $ 4.3 million to public transfers and US $ 2.4 million is for smaller capital with 85.5 million for development capital.
