DILI, 11 february 2021 (TATOLI)– Malaysia’s Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Sarimah Akbar, met with Timor-Leste President of Parliament (PPN), Aniceto Longuinhos Guterres Lopes to discuss the future cooperation in the human resource area.
“We speak about the cooperation in the human resource area and sharing the experiences of public policy, to invite all the parliamentary members to take part in the interaction between the parliamentary group between the two countries,” Ambassador Sarimah Akbar told the journalists after meeting with the PPN today.
Ms Akbar also updates to PPN about the training in the human resource area, especially the training to be provided to the member of youth parliamentary in the future since human resource is important in the parliamentary activities.
She justifies that the part of cooperation is to share the perspective about the parliament’s activities between the members of the parliaments between the two countries.
“They can make interaction and learning from each other,” she said.
Ms Akbar added that cooperation will not be realized for this time since the world are facing the covid-19 pandemic.
In spite the, PPN, Aniceto Longuinhos Guterrs Lopes agreed with the cooperation proposal regarding the parliamentary activity offers by Malaysia’s Embassy.
