National Health Laboratory raised more than US$ 100,000 funds from covid-19 tests

DILI, 22 february, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Director-General of the National Health Laboratory, Endang Soares, said that, between October 2020 and January this year, the laboratory raised more than US $ 100,000 funds for State account from the test fee’s for covid-19.

The prices for the laboratory tests differently starting from October 13.

The National Laboratory charges US $ 35 for the PCR test, the result of the tests will take between 48 and 72 hours, US $ 40 for the GeneXpert Covid-19 test, will take between 24 and 48 hours to take the result, Otherwise, there is other assignment that focus only for the crucial cases such as PCR biofire testing with the duration 24 hours with costs around $120.

Regarding the microbiology test, Endang Soares said that the costs is around US $ 5.25.
