DILI, 13 April 2021 (TATOLI)– Appreciating the solidarity shown by the friendly countries over the floods disaster in Timor-Leste, the Government’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC), Adaljiza Magno today said that, the supports Timor-Leste have received from friendly countries have contributed immensely to the life of most floods affected people.
“These contributions mean a lot to the most affected people in this country at this very challenging time. The Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste will guarantee that all the humanitarian assistance will be delivered to the needy people shortly,” Mrs. Magno said in a statement released today.
Concerning this, Magno expresses her deepest admiration and gratitude to the friendship’s country on behalf of the Government and people of Timor-Leste.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, would like to express our deepest admiration and gratitude to the veterans of INTERFET, the Australians as well as Timorese Australian, the people and the Government of China, Japan, the Republic of Singapore, the United States of America and each and everyone who has provided humanitarian assistance to support Timor-Leste at this time of extensive distress,” Mrs. Magno said in a statement released today.
