DILI, 05 may 2021 (TATOLI)— The State Ministries Meeting, authorizes the Ministry of State Finance, Rui Agusto Gomes to sign an agreement between Timor-Leste and the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) on behalf of the United State America.
“The agreement was established by a realization of United States America’s financial contribution to Timor-Leste totaling $ 17.9 million, to strengthen non-oil and gas sector and for reinforcement of good governance,” President for the Council of Minister, Fidelis Manuel Leite Magalhães said after the council meeting.
He said the agreement foresees the possibility for completing the contribution, depends on the capacity of the budget donor, through the additional contribution of about $92.300.000 estimated budget.
“This additional contribution might happen, in the future, we need to agree on every financial contribution,” he said.
