DILI, may 19, 2021 (TATOLI) – Timorese Government has approved an agreement proposal for the cooperation project in the area of territorial administrative decentralization and the development of local infrastructure, between Timor-Leste and Australia, which will start to be implemented between 1 July 2021 and 30 June 2031.
“The Program has a national scale, with elements of execution at a central and local level”, The President for the Council of Minister, Fidelis Manuel Leite Magalhaes said during the press conference held at the Finance Hall Aitarak Laran.
Magalhães said, there are three components of the projects; the support for the national suco development program (PNDS), municipal administrations and authority training, and the component that deals with improving operations and maintaining infrastructure.
