DILI, 25 may 2021 (TATOLI)- The project of “Osan Povu Nian, Jere ho Di’ak” offers an online training “Business Sector of the State” for the auditors of the Chamber of Accounts from the Court of Appeal.
According to a statement from the document released today, a 1st training session will take place between the 24th and 28th of May, aim at Deeping the knowledge of the auditors in areas such as the concept of the State Business Sector (SEE); the development of a legal model capable of regulating the sector from the shareholder perspective and without supervision.
In addition, other modules analyze the concerns of the control of entities belonging to the public business sector and the management autonomy of its managers, the concerns of the State, within the scope of its powers of control and supervision of public finances and identification of the situation of the business sector State in Timor-Leste.
The training will be held virtually via Zoom platform and made available to a group of 15 trainees, for a total of 10 hours.
From May 31 to June 7, there will be a 2nd edition of the same training for the remaining auditors of the Chamber of Accounts, in a total of 15 trainees.
The training will be given by the professor and statutory auditor Dr. Vítor Almeida, a recognized specialist in the financial area, branch of the audit, who has extensive experience in his training area.
The PFMO-Componente 2 project is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and Camões I.P. and is managed by this institute. The focal sector of the project is good governance and the objective of the intervention is to contribute to the sustainable development of Timor-Leste, through a more transparent and citizen-oriented management and supervision of public finances.
