DILI, 01, september 2021 ( TATOLI)-The Secretary of State for Youth and Sports (SEJD) together with the Association of vision impairment (AHDMTL) have signed a memorandum of understanding to support the members of the AHDMTL to participate in the Culture dancing congress held in Hungary next month.
Director of AHMDTL Gaspar Afonso during a phone call with TATOLI explained, SEJD supports AHDMTL saying AHDMTL has a program of Culture and Traditional culture in Manleuana Training Center.
“AHMDTL has a center for the development of traditional dance culture and we have the opportunity to participate in the international congress in Hungary which will be attended by all countries in the world including Timor Leste,” said Afonso.
He said the purpose of the congress is to share experiences and gain the experience from each other to implement in everyone’s country at the same time to develop the culture in Timor-Leste.
Therefore, last week the AHDMTL was chosen by the Timor-Leste government through the SEJD to send one of the members to participate in the congress which will take place on 22 October and will end on 3 November 2021.
To achieve this, the SEJD supported a grant of $5,220 to the Social and Inclusive Program coordinator of AHMDTL Adriano dos Santos for the accommodation fee.
