IRDTBP requests for an additional $500 thousand  in the 2022 State Budget

DILI, 10 september 2021 (TATOLI)-  The Institute of Research, Development, Training, and Bamboo Promoting, (IRDTBP) has proposed additional $.500 thousand in the 2022 state budget.

The Executive Director of Bamboo Institute, António dos Santos de Matos, said that the initial funding provided by the Ministry of Finance in CPFR 2022 was more than $400 thousand, however, the IRDTBP request additional $500 thousand.

“The initial budget was $400 thousand prepared by the Commission of Political Finance Revision (CPFR), but we add more $500 thousand to meet the target that has been set by the IRDTBP institution,” The Exclusive Director Antonio dos Santos told the reporters after attending CPFR 2022 meeting at the Minister of Finance, Aitarak laran Dili.

Santos said, the Institution has set no plan for construction or rehabilitation within 2022 and the budget will be used for the continuation of the program that has been implemented so far: “We prioritize the quality of the product from bamboo, the additional fund will use to ensure the production effectiveness,”

So far Bamboo Institution has collaborated with 14 working groups to promote bamboo in addition there will be two more groups to join the Institution.
