DILI, 22 september, 2021 (TATOLI)—State Secretariat for Civil Protection (SEPS) with support from UN Women has resumed the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Gender Sensitive Conflict Prevention and Resolution (GSCPR) for 12 mediators.

Secretary of State Civil Protection (SEPS), Joaquim José Gusmão dos Reis Martins said the 12 mediators who participated in this training were selected from the National Directorate of Community Conflict Prevention (NDCCP) at SEPS. The participants were from some municipalities except Manatuto and RAEOA.

“SSCP working together with UN Women conducted training for the selective mediators that qualified with the ability to participate in ToT program. After the training the trainers will share with the community what they have received regarding public agencies on problem-solving,” Joaquim explained to reporters in Delta Nova, today.

The training is funded by the UN Women with a total budget of $60,000 in NDCCP and also for 2025 planning preparedness.
