DILI, 12 october 2021 (TATOLI) – The National Agency for Academic Assessment and Accreditation (ANAAA) conducted an assessment of the Master Of Business Administration degree program at the Dili Institute of Technology (DIT).
The two-day site visit for the assessment of the MBA degree program took place at the DIT campus from october 8 to 9.
The MBA program of DIT was assessed by two national evaluators during the site visit – Dr. Nilton Paiva and Dr. Felix Piedade. At the same time, Prof. Hazman Shah Abdulah as the international evaluator from Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) also participated in the evaluation via zoom meeting.
The importance of accreditation is that it creates a set of quality standards for an MBA degree. Furthermore, accreditation aims to ensure accountability of schools and degree programs which boosts public trust and confidence.
“Accreditation is a quality assurance process to ensure the MBA degree program meets the recognized standards set by ANAAA,” said the statement.
During the evaluation process, evaluators requested DIT to re-submit the report of its MBA degree program to ANAAA.
“The site visit assessment was attended by DIT’s rector and academic staff. During the assessment, the evaluators visited the MBA’s library, etc,” the statement said
The result of the assessment of the DIT’s MBA degree program would be published by ANAAA.
