COVALIMA , 28 october 2021 (TATOLI) – ANPM approved Safety Case and Drilling Plan to Timor Resources and its joint venture TIMOR GAP Onshore Block A, Unip. Lda.
With these approvals, Timor Resources will immediately conduct preparation for drilling activity at Feto Kmaus Well in Suai, Covalima.
“ANPM had approved the document of the Safety Case to permit Timor Resources to begin the drilling of the Feto Kmaus Well. The approvals will allow Timor Resources to prepare for the drilling of the Well,” Vice President of the ANPM, Jose Manuel Goncalves told reporters at the Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão airport in Covalima, on Monday.
Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak would officially launch the spud-ding on october 27, 2021, following the approval of the safety case document.
“As the drilling poses a high risk, therefore, it took a long period to reach the approval of the document,” said Goncalves.
