DILI, 04 november ( TATOLI) – The Director of Technical Administration of Electoral (STAE), Acelino Manuel Branco said, The overseas voter registration team has been recorded 654 voters in the systems from October to November, saying the registration is ongoing in the thee countries United Kingdom, Korea, and Portugal until January 4, 2022.
“Since October 01 to November 04, 2021, STAE has temporarily registered 654 new voters, the new voter’s registration will end on 14 January 2022, We hope these number will increase,” Branco told Tatoli in STAE’s office Kaikoli, Dili today.
Branco explained of the total numbers 102 composed of women and 552 voters of men:” The team from South Korea has recorded 431 voters, consisting of 413 male and 18 female voters, Portugal consisting of 103, 62 male voters and 41 female voters and the UK consisting of 120 voters, 105 male voters and 15 female voters,”
“We know that many voters have not yet been in the lists, since they are busy with their work, some of them are less information, therefore, we collaborate with the Embassies to announce for the voters to be able to register their names for the elections,” he added.
