DILI, 11 november 2021 (TATOLI) – In the past 24 hours, Timor-Leste recorded two new COVID-19 cases, two recoveries, and 13 active cases, said Rui Maria de Araujo, the Coordinator of the Integrated Crisis Management Center (SIJK).
According to today’s figure, one of the new cases was detected in Dili and one was in Baucau.
There are two people with the mild condition of COVID-19 in hospital.
In the past 24 hours, the National Health Laboratory (LNS) has performed 35 PCR tests, including 21 through random screening, one for the international travel authorization, and 13 in quarantines.
The SIJK kept calling on communities to practice the health and safety guidelines recommended by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the WHO to continue combating the spread of the virus.
Since Timor-Leste’s outbreak began in April 2020, the country has recorded 19.809 cases, 19.674 recoveries, 122 deaths.
In Timor-Leste, of the 754.864 eligible groups, 76.8 percent had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, of which 51.4 percent have been fully vaccinated.
