DILI, 15 november, 2021 (TATOLI)- Timor-Leste National Youth Center (TLNYC) is offered capacity building for 16 young people to ensure institutional enforcement in youth centers across the country.
The Secretary of State for Youth and Sport, Abrão Saldanha Nokosiko said this training activity aims to provide institutional enforcement within leadership, finance management, Monitoring, Evaluation, and adaptation training.
“The TLNYC has restructured on their organization and requires more trainings for the new members. To ensure that all members acquire enough knowledge of leadership and financial management,” The secretary state of Youth and Sport, Abrão Saldanha informed Tatoli at Fatuhada, 15 November, this Monday.
Nokosiku plea the young members to earn the comprehension on the leaderships and financial management to deal with other organization’s members in the working system also to ensure the organization will not suffer from the misuses of financial.
“SSYD expects this training will help prevent people from the misuses of financial or economic exploitation. The proper measure is prevention based on the understanding of financial responsibility to avoid the financial in-transparency of the organization.
The President of Timor-Leste National Youth Center (TLNYC), Maria Dadi Magno said that the National youth center organization requests to provide more training for institutional enforcement.

TLNYC plays an important role to help the Timor-Leste government through the Secretary of State of Youth and Sport to involve young people in contributing to the country’s development.
“The TLNYC is a youth institution providing young people with the ability of good leadership, management and ability of monitoring and evaluation for an organization to achieve the main goal. Therefore, a leader must introduce the organization’s vision and mission to meet the objective,” Maria Dadi told Tatoli Agency in Fatuhada, Dili this Monday.
According to Magno, a leader must ensure an organization and society are living in peaceful, Independent, democracy, respect the value of culture and region.
“Therefore this training is focused on leadership and finance management to be engaged with the program action plan. The organization is required for the synchronization with input and output of organization procedures,” She said.
It is recalled that the training is offered to the organization’s framework in thirteen municipalities across Timor-Leste and funded by Secretary State Youth and Sport with the amount of more than 79 thousand USD for Timor-Leste National Youth Center Organization.
