DILI, november 30, 2021 (TATOLI) – The Executive Director of the National Development Agency (ADN), Mariano Renato Monteiro da Cruz informed that AND has already made the payment of 65 projects out of 738.
“We are now monitoring 738 projects worth more than US$1.1 billion. So far, we have already paid 65 projects”, Cruz made the comments in his presentation at a seminar on Evaluation Results of the Infrastructure Projects, in Timor-Leste, at the Ministry of Finance (MoF), in Díli.
Cruz said ADN had received the documents of 775 infrastructure projects out of 948 to be verified: “We have verified 680 projects, and we also have returned 64 documents of the projects. ADN team is currently conducting the verification of the documents of 31 projects,” he stressed.
He said that these projects were implemented in various areas of infrastructure, including water and sanitation, education, agriculture, and commerce.
Cruz said around 237 projects documents hadn’t been submitted to be verified by ADN: “Now we are at the end of the year, therefore, the verification of these documents is necessary.
He highlighted that ADN would put efforts to ensure that all projects would be implemented with a high quality to improve the basic infrastructure services.
