FDCH to announce Scholarship on february

DILI, 14 january 2022 (TATOLI) – In 2022,  FDCH (Human Capital Development Fund) will provide at least 1000 scholarships to the public. These 1000 scholarships will be opened for undergraduate, Master degree and Doctorate degree (PhD). Therefore, Timorese students are advised to prepare all the relevant documents to apply when the FDCH issues an official announcement in february.

“FDCH will provide 1000 scholarships to the public but FDCH will be responsible for only 50% of university ‘s fees and scholarship recipients will be responsible for 50% too. The Students will  choose the faculties and the departments  and also foreign universities and domestic universities freely. After that, FDCH will work together with the universities mentioned to process the tuition fees,” the representative of FDCH, Fernando do Nascimento told Tatoli at Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares, Bidau Toko Baru, Dili, today.

The 50:50 tuition financing policy is implemented in order that the students can study diligently to complete their studies quickly to contribute to the development process in Timor – Leste.

“With a cost of 50:50 the students will think about their money and also think about the efforts of their parents to study hard and graduate quickly to contribute to the process of national development in Timor – Leste,” Nascimento said.

1000 students of 50:50 will be open to the public servant, those students will be free to choose the faculties and departments and are free to choose the foreign universities and domestic universities. FDCH is willing to pay the 1000 students with  50:50.
