DILI, 18 january 2022 (TATOLI) – Tenant General Lere Anan Timur encourages Military Police (MP) to perform their role and work in accordance with the law.
Timur made the comments during the caommemoration of the anniversary of the Military Police, in Dili, on monday.
“I called on the Military Police persons to continue performing their daily job professionally. You need to demonstrate bravery, loyalty, and self-confidence and follow all the rules and regulations of the Military Police,” Timur said.
According to Timur’s observation, Military Police had been made significant progress compared with the previous year: “They need to keep improving themselves to serve the nation professionally.”
“Military Police persons need to keep demonstrating their professionalism during this political year,” he said.
At the same place, Military Police Commander, Abel da Costa ‘Nicki” said Military Police (MP) is currently having difficulties and limitations but will continue to perform its jobs professionally.
“PM is always there to support Timorese National Police (PNTL) to ensure stability in the country. PM performs its work impartially without discriminating any particular race, or group in the communities.
