MALAYSIA, 03 may 2022 (TATOLI) – Timorese footballer, Paulo Gally Freitas, began training with his new club Antequera in Spain.
Antequera Club de Fútbol is a Spanish football team based in Antequera, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Founded in 1992, it currently plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 4, holding home games at Estadio El Maulí, with a capacity of 6.000 seats.
“Now, I am training with my new Antequera teammates. I feel comfortable with the training here, and hoping that will gain new skills,” Gally told TATOLI, via WhatsApp, on monday.
Gally said he is yet to know the duration of his training in Spain: “Right now, I am focusing on training to level up my skills.”
Gally demonstrated his football talent during the competition of the Asian Football Federation (AFF).
He promised to work hard, especially in facing new challenges ahead: “I need to work hard to overcome new challenges here in Spain.
Gally was accused of being overaged when he participated in the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-15, a year after his involvement in the senior team in the AFF Suzuki Cup which listed him as being a 22-year-old player. Gally was born on december 31, 2024, and he will turn 18 on december 31, this year.
The magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the AFF and AFC proved that Gally didn’t manipulate his chronological age.
He was an athletic football player who possessed the capability of dribbling as an attacking player.
