DILI, 29 april 2022 (TATOLI)– New Envoys from five countries virtually presented their credentials to the President of the Republic, Francisco Guterres Lú Olo on Friday, 29/04/2022.
Following the statement released from the office of the President, New Envoy credited to Timor-Leste, from the Republic of India, Manoj Kumar Bharti, and, Ambassador appointed by the Vatican, Santa Sé Arsebispu Wojciech Zaluski, Ambassador of Canada, Nadia Burger, Ambassador of Turkey, Askin Asan and Ambassador appointed from Angola, Daniel António Rosa,”
The new envoys have submitted their letter virtually due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Although many countries have recovered from the Pandemic situation, flight connectivity remains the most concerning issue and hampers the movement of people from one country to another.
The statement also said, These five countries have established their embassies in Timor-Leste but have not yet established bilateral cooperation in Timor-Leste.
According to Plan, Timor Leste and India will enter into an agreement that will bind the relations between the two countries.
President Lú Olo is delighted to accept the mandates of the five countries and looking forward to strengthening relations with these countries.
