DILI,11 may 2022 (TATOLI)-The Government submitted the proposal for a Law on Major Option plan for 2023 to the President of the National Parliament, Aniceto Guterres Lopes.
The proposal was presented by the Ministers of Finance Rui Augusto Gomes, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Social Communication Francisco Jeronimo, and the Minister of Coordinator of Economic Affairs, Joaquim Amaral.
The major Option plan for 2023 include 16 key measures from various areas – agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and forestry; economy and employment; tourism; rural development and housing; environment; oil and minerals; electricity and renewable energy; national connectivity; water and sanitation; education and training; social inclusion and protection; culture and heritage; state reform; national defense and security and international relations and foreign policy.
“The main objective is to implement the Strategic Plan for National Development (PDN), of the Program of the Eighth Constitutional Government, including the annual plan of services and entities of the administrative public sector,” he said.
According to the calendar of the 2023 General State Budget on the Budget Framework, the National Parliament and the Government will discuss the draft law and approve it on 30 May.
Previously on may 9, 2022 the Council of Ministers approved the proposal submitted by the Minister of Finance.
