DILI, 23 june 2022 (TATOLI)- World Health Organization (WHO), National Hospital Guido Valadares (NAHGV), and ASA English courses distribute English Certificates to 111 health profesionals and the staff of public healthcare.
The Executive Director of ASA Association, Benedito Soares said this is the third period of English courses offered to the health healths profesionals and the staff of the public healthcare by the ASA.
“We are coming up with an objective to enhance speaking, reading, and writing, skills that can help the staffs communication’s in english language, the subject is basic and intermediate English, the couse will also to ensure students and health staff work with medical and modern health equipment,’’ The Executive Director of ASA Association, Benedito Soares told reports at NHGV, Bidau Toko Baru, this Thursday.
Soares said, the 111 beneficiaries have attended the course for six months before receiving the certificates.
The Director of Administration and Finances of NHGV, Humberto Gama said that the English language is a communication tool to be used by people in their everyday communication.
Gama thanked ASA for the support provided to the staff in the health sector, adding that this is the important moment for the staff to take part in the course.
“The health staff should speak and understand english very well, the primary focus is on providing the service for the public,”
In the same opportunity the Public Service Commissioner of a working and training force, Antonio said, the institutions that offered the english language training to the staffs must be the institutions that have the accreditation certificate for english language.
“The institutions of english course should fulfill the required criteria to offer the training to participants, and ASA is one of the accredited institutions,”
So far the English training program for the health profesional is funded by WHO and managed by NHGV.
