DILI, 10 august 2022 (TATOLI)— Timor-Leste Government sends heartfelt sympathy to the victim of South Korea’s recent flood.
“On behalf of the people and government of Timor-Leste, express our heartfelt sympathy to the family and the victims of the devastating floods in South Korea that were caused by the monsoonal rain on Monday,8″ The President of the Council of Minister, Fidelis Magalhães said in his statement on wednesday.
The downpour on Monday and thursday in the Seoul of South Korea submerged some streets and buildings, trapping people in flooded apartments and stranding cars while killing nine people and hundreds were evacuated to safer places.
“Our deepest condolences to the family who lost their loved one. In this difficult time, we express our solidarity to the Government and the People of South Korea and hope they will quickly get through this difficult time, “
