DILI, 19 august 2022 (TATOLI)-The Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Andika Perkasa, and his entourage, arrived at the Nicolau Lobato International Airpot Dili, at 1:45 PM TL hour, with Indonesia Air Force A-7307.
The departure of Andika Perkasa is to take part in a celebration of the 47th anniversary of FALINTIL F-FDTL that is scheduled to be held on August 20.
TNI General Muhammad Andika Perkasa was accompanied by his wife, Diah Erwiany Trisnamurti Hendrati and the entourage was welcomed by the Brigadier General of the Timor-Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL), Cornelio Ximenes ‘Maunana’ and his wife.
After leaving Nicolau Lobato Airport, General Andika Perkasa and his entourage headed to the Novo Turismo Hotel to prepare for several meetings with the Timor-Leste General, Falur Rate Laek at F-FDTL Headquarters.
Following the agenda of his visits, Perkasa will attend a welcome dinner by the F-FDTL Commander at the El legendario Restaurant.
On the following day, Perkasa and his wife will visit Indonesian Veteran Cemetery ‘Serojas’ Dili with Indonesia’s Ambassador together with Indonesian Community in TL.
Precisely from 10.45 to 11.45 he will attend the GMN TV Interview (local TV media) together with Military General Officer from Australia and Portugal at GMN TV studio, discuss the topics related to “Support of each country related to the development of Human Resources for F-FDTL”
The agenda also says TNI Commander and his entourage will have lunch together with the Indonesian Ambassador, Okto Dorinus Manik, and the Indonesian Citizen Community in TL (BUMN, BUMS, and Indonesian community leaders) at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) Farol.
At 14:00 WTL, the TNI Commander attended the FALINTIL Anniversary Commemoration ceremony at the Government Palace as well as the inauguration of the promotion of the Prime Minister, Taur Matan Ruak.
On the same date of celebration, Timor-Leste’s President of Republic, José Ramos Horta will award TNI General Officer Andika Perkasa with a Medal of Appreciation.
The Commander will return to Jakarta Indonesia on 21 august at 17:00 Th.
