DILI, 14 september 2022 ( TATOLI) – President of the National Council of Islam in Timor – Leste ( CONISTIL), Pascoal Siddiq Lemorai, said Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Timor-Leste (TL), Wan Hadfi Lutfan bin Haji Abdul Latif visited KONISTIL today to discuss the situation of Timorese Islamic community in Timor-Leste.

“Ambassador Latif paid a friendly visit to CONISTIL. During his visit, the Ambassador wanted to know the condition and situation facing the Islamic community in Timor-Leste,” CONISTIL President Pascoal Siddiq Lemorai told TATOLI at his office at the Alor Masjid, Dili on Sunday. Wednesday.

According to Lemorai, Ambassador Latif will visit mosques in other municipalities together with CONISTIL.

“Ambassador Latif will visit mosques in other municipalities to see the condition and situation of the Islamic community and support the construction of mosques through CONISTIL in Timor – Leste,”

Lemorai added, on the same occasion he asked the Ambassador to help the economy of the Muslim community of Timor Leste, especially focusing on supporting their businesses to improve their economy and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

“On behalf of the Muslims in Timor – Leste, I would like to thank the Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam, Abdul Latif, and ask Ambassador to help the East Timorese Muslim economy and help them in their business to improve their economy and also can contribute to the country’s economic growth.

In turn, the Ambassador promised to inform his kingdom in Brunei Darussalam about the request made by the Muslim Authority in Timor-Leste.
