CWP Global LTD and Kansei Company to recruit workers from Timor-Leste to work in Japan in 2023

DILI, 21 september 2022 ( TATOLI)– The Carrying Water Project, Global LTD ( CWP), and Kansei Company from Japan met with the Secretary of State for Vocational and Employment (SEFOPE) to discuss the process of recruiting Timorese workers to work in Japan in 2023.

President of CWP Global, LTD, Kon Yosuke, said this meeting was a consultation stage to exchange ideas with SEFOPE to send Timor-Leste workers to work in the water technical management area in Japan by 2023,

“Both CWP Global LTD and Kansei Company need Timorese workers to work in the technical water management area in Japan because currently, Japan has limited human resources,” President of CWP Global, LTD, Kon Yosuke told the media at SEFOPE Cai Coli, Dili on Wednesday.

Kon Yosuke explained that the company will coordinate with SEPFOPE to offer basic technical training in water management for Timorese workers before working in Japan.

“We will work closely with SEFOPE to facilitate basic water technical management system training to Timorese workers before traveling to work in Japan in 2023, hopefully, our company will receive many Timorese workers to help the work in water technical management systems because currently, Japan has limited human resources, Therefore, on this occasion, CWP Global LTD and Kansei Company would like to thank Government’s SEFOPE for accepting CWP Global LTD and Kansey Company as partners in the future,” he said.

The Secretary of State for Training and Employment, Alarico do Rosario, on behalf of the Government of Timor-Leste greatly appreciates CWP Global, LTD and the Kansei Company for being willing to recruit Timorese workers to work in Japan.

“We will prepare many Timorese workers as requested from your company and will continue to have effective coordination with your company to accelerate this process,” said Rosario.

The General Director of SEFOPE, Paul Alves warmly welcomed CWP, Global LTD, and Kansei Company, saying that SEFOPE will soon prepare a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the two companies to send the workers to work in Japan in the future.

“SEFOPE will prepare an MoU and legal framework with companies on sending the workers to work in Japan, to ensure that everything is according to procedures,” said Alves.
