DILI, 24 october 2022 (TATOLI)- President of Republic (PR), José Ramos Horta today received Credential letters from New Envoys to Timor-Leste at the Presidential palace.
The General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoFAC), Francisco Tilman Cepeda, said The New Envoys are designed by Australia, Norway, and Vietnam.

“Today the third Ambassadors submitted their credentials letter to the President of the Republic, José Ramos Horta, they are the Ambassador Extra Ordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria, Thomas Loidl, Ambassador Extra Ordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway, Ruth Gruger Giverin and the Ambassador Extra Ordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam, Ta Van Thong. The designated Ambassadors will conduct their diplomatic mission in Indonesia and Timor-Leste,” the Secretary-General, MoFAC, Francisco Tilman Cepeda, told the media at the Presidential palace, Aitarak Laran Dili.
Cepeda added that by submitting their credentials, the three countries will maintain good diplomatic relations with Timor – Leste, while their residences are in Jakarta.

“They pledge to conduct good communication and coordination with Timor-Leste in all aspects and pledge to continue working together to strengthen the bilateral relations in various sectors,” he said.
In turn, Cepeda said, the President of the Republic, José Ramos Horta President Horta congratulated Ambassadors on their appointments and gave them a warm welcome.
