DILI, 26 october 2022 ( TATOLI)-The Timorese Government today approved Air Service Agreement with Indonesia and Singapore to ensure the regular commercial flight between Timor – Leste and both countries.
The Minister of the Presidency of the Council Ministers, Fidelis Magalhães, said that the agreement will promote the development of the economic commercial and tourism sectors of these countries.
Magalhães added that, after the agreement is signed, the countries will start air connectivity to contribute to the economic recovery and the normalization of commercial activities.
The Government has authorized the Minister of Transport and Communication, José Agostinho da Silva, to negotiate and sign two services agreements with Cambodia and Portugal.
So far, Timor – Leste already has air agreements with the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia.
