DILI, 4 november 2022 (TATOLI)- Timor-Leste Electricity Department (EDTL) and Telecommunication Operator (Telemor) release a Go-Live Finance Management System (FMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to provide for financial and asset control during the payment process.
President of EDTL, Paulino Da Silva said this is a great system that can be also used in the procurement and payment process.
“We release this system today to be used for controlling financial system and assets which belong to EDTL,’’ President of EDTL, Paulino Da Silva told Journalists in EDTL’s meeting room, Caicoli, this Friday.
Silva said the system is a digital system that guarantees transparency and well control of the finance system, saying therefore it can be controlled on EDTL’s warehouse system and also human resources.
“It is an integrated system that can control all functions of cooperative works. Therefore, all electricity bills and expenditures are recorded into this system,’’ He explained.
Mr. Da Silva congratulated Telemor for its commitment to finalizing this system on time and also requests Telemor more assistance to guide EDTL’s staff on operating this system appropriately.
In the same place the General Director of Telemor, Tran Van Bang said TELEMORE is developing this platform system to help EDTL control its finances, assets, and human resources.
“We are working with the EDTL for five months to ensure the quality of the system. We continue to help EDTP to understand the data-based system that recording on EDTL’s data by offering training to the EDTL staff to operate the system at the same time we also have provided a guidance template,’’ he said.
So far this Go-Live FMS and ERP platform has been used in 170 countries across the world including the USA, Canada, Australia, United Kindong, Dubai, and others.
The development of the Go-Live FMS and ERP platform was funded by EDTP with 500.000 USD.
