DILI, 04 january 2023 (TATOLI) – The Electricity Public Company named “Eletricidade de Timor-Leste”(EDTL, E.P), has collected more than US$48 million in revenues, in 2022.
“We raise US$48 million in 2022, compared to US$ 34.4 million in 2021,” said EDTL, E.P Board Chairman, Paulo da Silva in a statement.
According to the statement, US$48 million was collected from the electricity bill charges and the installation of prepaid electricity meters.
“I called on all department heads of EDTL. E.P. to manage our human resources well to improve our services and work towards achieving our goal in 2023. We aim to raise US$60 million in revenue next year,” said Silva.
EDTL, E.P. Commissioner, Latino Jeronimo also urged all staff members to work as a team and create good communication to achieve the goal of EDTL.
“I thank our staff for their dedication in 2022. We look forward to ensuring a sustainable energy supply for the public,” said Jeronimo.
