DILI, 26 january 2022 (TATOLI)- Timor-Leste Civil Aviation Authority (TLCAA) awarded an International Operation Certification (IOC) to Timor-Leste National Aviation Authority (ANATL) by fulfilling the international standard.
The President of AACTL, Eusébio Freitas said the certificate was awarded to ANATL factors that respond to international standards.
“ The three points were identified through an audit, infrastructure, operation, and management. These three, responding to the international standards,’’ The President of AACTL, Eusébio Freitas told journalists in the ceremony distributed international certification by Minister of Transport and Communication to the ANATL in Dili Airport, this thursday.
Freitas explained, the result of the audit revealed that overall the infrastructure of the airport has fulfilled the international standard despite there being several things that have not been completed.
“TLCAA recommended to the National Authority of AirPort Management in Timor-Leste (ANATL) to improve airport service management system,”
Meanwhile, The minister of Transportation and Communication, José Agostinho Da Silva said the Air Navigation Administration of Timor-Leste (ANATL) work hard to fulfil many criteria from ICAO such as infrastructure, Human resource, control management system, and other legal instruments.
“Therefore, today the government of Timor-Leste distribute an international operational certification to Air Navigation Administration Timor Leste (ANATL) based on a two-week audit conducted by the TLCAA, based on the results of the audit, Dili International Nicolau Lobato deserved international operational certification,”
