DILI 29 january 2023 ( TATOLI)– PT TRIPATRA Engenering will conduct the feasibility study on the Metinaro Petroleum Terminal Project in the Sub-Administrative Post of Metinaro, Municipality of Dili.

The statement posted by Timor GAP’s stated that the contract award followed an international bidding process, which was in full compliance with the Timor-Leste government and TIMOR GAP EP. internal contract bidding procedures.

The signing was carried out by the Managing Director of Downstream Business Unit TIMORGAP E.P., Francelino Boavida, and Raymond Naidi Rasfuldi, President Director and CEO of PT TRIPATRA ENGINEERING (Tripatra) on 18 January at TRIPATRA Head Quarters office located in Jakarta.

It is explained that this project is based on the development of a Petroleum Import Terminal (PIT) to provide a strategic stock of petroleum fuels for the energy security of Timor-Leste in the event of supply chain disruptions.

The PIT facility’s overall work scope is a marine facility to provide mooring for petroleum product tankers linked to an onshore tank farm for the storage of Diesel, Petroleum, Aviation Fuel, LPG, and a Lubricant Storage Warehouse.

It is explained also that the PT Tripatra Engineering contract scope of work will be to provide an updated feasibility study, followed by the Front-End Engineering (FEED) for the project over 10 months.
