DILI, 31 january 2023 ( TATOLI)- The adjutant General Rhode Island, Cristopher P. Callahan, the United State National Guard, today met the Leitenam General of Timor – Leste Defense Force ( F- FDTL) Raul Domingos, ” Falur Rate Laek to discuss the bilateral cooperation in the Defense Force area.
Major General Christoper P. Callahan said the purpose of visiting the F- FDTL ‘s office is to update the information about the cooperation in the defense force area which had previously been implemented.
” We both talk about the joint military exercise, supporting Logistik to F- FDTL, construction of Baucau airfield and training of pilots in F-FDTL and the others support to continue the bilateral cooperation in the Defense Force area,” said Major General Callahan at the office the Ministry of Defense in Fatuhada Dili on Tuesday.
In addition, Major General Callahan take this opportunity to invite Leitenam Genreral Falur Rate Laek to visit the United States to strengthen the cooperation of the Defense Force.
At the same place, Leitenam General of F- FDTL Falur Rate Laek appreciates the commitment of the National Guard of Rhode Island support provided to F-FDTL including the equipment of logistics and other support of Capacity Building.
” I Thanked the U.S Defense Force for all the support provided for us during this time, Hopefully, this cooperation will be continued in the upcoming future,” he concluded.
