DILI, 27 february 2023 (TATOLI)- Timor GAP had facilitated 18 young people from Beaco, Municipality of Vikeke to attend the technical training in the oil and Gas sector (MiGAS) in East Kalimantan Indonesia.
The Training was provided by the Timor – GAP Company and PT Rhino LNG where previously Timor GAP and PT Badak LNG Indonesia signed a technical professional training agreement on the Maintenance of the Oil and Gas Industry.
“The training mentioned focuses on the Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation at the LNG Plant which is attended by 18 youths trainees from Beaco, Vikeke,” said the official Timor GAP‘s Website seen by TATOLI.
The Training program is divided into three phases, namely classroom session / Basic Training on the Job Training (OJT) and Jobs Specific Training (JST) / Hand–on Training. Training will be provided for them for 9 months
The first phase of maintenance training (Basic Class Training) was completed in early January 2023. The second stage (On Job Training) was also completed in early February 2023.
Currently, the training participants are in the last phase (Job Specific Training) which will be completed at the end of June 2023.
The criteria for obtaining a certificate from this training are that trainees must pass many rigorous exams with a certain passing score with a minimum score of 75 %.
