DILI, 03 april 2023 (TATOLI) – The Government of Timor-Leste has executed, in the first quarter, US$207.3 million of the 2023 State General Budget (SGB), totaling US$2.16 billion. This execution excludes commitments and obligations.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the highest rate of execution is in the Central Government with US$203.8 million out of a total budget of US$1.8 billion.
With regard to the Oé-Cusse Ambeno Special Administrative Region, the same source said that it “executed US$3.2 million of the US$120 million.”
While, implementation of ministerial lines reached US$151.4 million, out of a total budget of US$1.2 billion. The Autonomous Agency reached 26.1 million, out of a budget of US$218.3 million.
The Ministry of Finance made a withdrawal, in the first quarter, of the Petroleum Fund amounting to US$300 million out of the total amount approved by the National Parliament of US$1,346 billion for this year’s GSB.
