DILI,23 june 2023 ( TATOLI) – The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) together with the Secretariat of State for Vocational Training and Employment (SEFOPE) socialize the law of Timor – Leste’s labor to the Indonesian investor for implemented in Timor – Leste.
Ambassador of Indonesia to Timor – Leste, Okto Dorinus Manik, said the socialization of the Timor – Leste labor law needed to be socialized for the Indonesian investor and businessmen to contribute the state tax payment in Timor – Leste.
“There are many investors, traders, and businessmen from Indonesia in Timor – Leste but some investors are yet to have knowledge on Timor-Leste’s labor law on the payment of taxes and the payment for the workers, therefore this socialization will help them to understand the applicable law in Timor-Leste,”Ambassador of Indonesia told TATOLI in Pusat Budaya Indonesia, Mascarenhas Dili.
In this opportunity Ambassador Manik asks the Indonesia investors, traders, and businessmen to fulfill the law and contribute to the diversification of the economic in Timor – Leste.
At the same place, the National Director of SEFOPE, Jacinto Gusmão said SEFOPE wishes to socialize the decree law No 4/ 2012 on Timor-Leste labor law to Investors from Indonesia.
“This socialization is very crucial for Indonesian Investors to contribute for payment of taxes in Timor – Leste,” he concluded.
Hopefully from the socialization of the labor law Indonesias investors, traders, and businessmen in Timor – Leste can contribute to the payment of state tax in Timor – Leste.
