DILI, 19 november 2023 (TATOLI) – The Ministry of Trade and Industry opened the Amor De Familia Mart store in Fatumeta, Dili, intending to sell quality products at lower prices during Christmas and New Year festivals.
Minister of Trade and Industry, Filipus Nino Pereira said it is a great initiative to support Timorese during Christmas.
“It’s a commitment by the government to support its people, especially to sell products at a lower price, including rice, etc.,” Pereira said at the launch ceremony in Fatumeta, Dili, on tuesday.
The director of Amor De Familia Mart, Melisa Saronpu, said that the opening of the store aims to provide various products at lower prices.
“We sell various local and imported products in this store. These products are of good quality,” said Saronpu.
She said: “Amor De Familia Mart is offering discounts during the Christmas and New Year Festival. We sell a 25 kg sack of rice at US$12.50 and a 20 kg at US$10.
