DILI, 03 may 2024 (TATOLI) – The Malaysian Embassy in Timor-Leste provides food and a sewing machine to Agape School for the Deaf in Timor-Leste.
Ambassador of Malaysia to Timor-Leste, Amarjit Sarjit Singh said that the various food items were given to help improve the nutrition of AGPAE’s students, which would help enhance their learning capacity and educational performance.
The distributed food items include eight sacks of 20kg of rice, two boxes of frozen chicken, as well as several racks of egg, cooking oil, and flour.

The Malaysian Embassy also provided a US$300 transportation allowance to AGAPE students.
Paulina Mendonça, one of the AGAPE students expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Malaysian Embassy for its support.
“These foods as well as the sewing machine are useful for us at this school,” she said.
