DILI, 04 june 2024 (TATOLI) – The Korean Republic Embassy in Dili provided 50 computers to the Presidency of the Republic of Timor-Leste to support the education sector, especially for schools that need computer equipment the most.
The official handover ceremony took place at the Korean Republic Embassy, where Ambassador SHIN Manteak himself handed over the 50 computers to Aida Maria dos Santos, Director General of Administration of the Presidency of the Republic.
The allocation of the 50 donated computers will be decided by the President of the Republic, Jose Ramos Horta.
The donation from South Korea comes at a good time as Timor-Leste continues its efforts to improve its educational infrastructure and integrate more technological resources into schools across the territory of Timor-Leste.
