DILI, 20 november 2024 (TATOLI) – Since 2015, the Ministry of Education (ME) has accredited 305 preschools in Timor-Leste’s national territory. This statement was made by the National Director of Pre-School Education, Domingos Soares.
According to him, the Licensing and Accreditation Assessment Office of the Ministry of Education has started the assessment process for 599 public preschool education institutions across Timor-Leste.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education’s Licensing and Accreditation Assessment Coordinator, António Maia, said that the Ministry of Education has conducted an information campaign for managers and supervisors of public and private early childhood education programs on the procedures and requirements for obtaining a license.
