Five Countries Confirm Participation in Dili Trade Expo 2025

DILI, 16 July 2025 (TATOLI) – Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Brunei Darussalam, and Cambodia have confirmed their participation in the Dili International Trade Expo (DITE-2025), scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 1 at the Dili Convention Centre.

The announcement was made today by Minister of Trade and Industry, Filipus Nino Pereira, who also reported that 75% of the event preparations have been completed.

Organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs Coordination and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, the expo is part of the official program celebrating the 50th anniversary of Timor-Leste’s Proclamation of Independence.

The international trade fair will showcase micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) from various countries and aims to foster business partnerships and encourage the signing of cooperation agreements between participating nations and companies.

The government has allocated over US$300,000 to support the organization of DITE-2025, which is expected to enhance regional economic ties and promote investment opportunities in Timor-Leste.
