DILI, 18 March 2026 (TATOLI) — TIMOR GAP, E.P., the state-owned energy company, received a courtesy visit today from Sergey Tolchenov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, and Kiribati.
During the visit, Ambassador Tolchenov met with TIMOR GAP’s Vice President for Government Relations and Stakeholder Engagement, Aurelia da Silva Alves, and her team.
The meeting provided an opportunity for constructive discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring potential cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
TIMOR GAP appreciates the visit and looks forward to continued engagement and collaboration that will contribute to the development of the energy sector and further strengthen the partnership between the Russian Federation and Timor-Leste.
