DILI, 08 April 2026 (TATOLI) — The Council of Ministers of Timor-Leste has approved the appointment of Duílio Marino Gusmão Araújo da Silva as Executive Director of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency, TradeInvest Timor-Leste, following a proposal from Vice Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Francisco Kalbuadi Lay.
The government said the appointment, which is for a full-time three-year term, was made on the basis of “technical competence and demonstrated qualifications for the position.”
Duílio Marino Gusmão Araújo da Silva has been with TradeInvest since 2019, most recently serving as Deputy Director.
He previously held key roles including Director of Export Promotion, Manager of Export Promotion, and Manager of External Relations and Marketing.
The appointment aims to strengthen TradeInvest’s capacity to promote investment and support the country’s export development initiatives.
