DILI, 14 April 2026 (TATOLI) – The government of Timor-Leste invited qualified professionals to submit expressions of interest for senior management positions at the newly established National Development Bank of Timor-Leste, officials said.
The National Development Bank of Timor-Leste, S.A. (BNDTL) was created under Decree-Law No. 32/2025 of 10 October as a state-owned development financial institution tasked with supporting sustainable economic growth, promoting financial inclusion and advancing national development priorities.
“The Government of Timor-Leste, through the Steering Committee composed of the Vice Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and Tourism, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Planning and Strategic Investment, hereby invites qualified professionals to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for senior management positions within BNDT,” said in a statement.
The expression of interest process aims to identify and assess qualified national and international candidates as part of a structured, transparent and competitive recruitment procedure, the government said.
It added that the process is part of preparatory steps toward the formal appointment of senior management for the new institution.
The establishment of BNDTL is part of broader efforts to strengthen Timor-Leste’s financial system and support long-term economic development.
